About the project
Parrot helps legal teams work with remote depositions, transcripts, and case materials. In that environment keyword search is fragile because users often remember the meaning of a passage, not the exact words used in it.
Semantic Search added related-meaning retrieval instead of exact phrase matching only. A query like medication can surface relevant mentions of drugs, procedures, and related terms across transcripts and case documents.
The feature also covered images and photos from exhibits. Users could describe what they were looking for and retrieve relevant visual materials, such as x-rays or injury-related exhibits.
The public launch positioned Semantic Search as part of Parrot's AI layer alongside transcript summaries, making large legal records faster to navigate and review.
